Had lunch there yesterday. Taco plate and Nashville hot sandwich. We received a plate of chips and a very nice dill dipping sauce. That was the highlight. The entrees were a bit pricey and ok at best. The server got my order wring but I believe he herd me wrong. Maybe if he wrote down my order or repeated it to me it would be okay. He was rather upset about the mixup but did bring out the correct order but had to wait 5 mins to get ketchup and Salt and Pepper for the fries.(we got the bar tender to get us some.) We barely saw him again. The place was not busy as it was 2:30. We finally got the check and he disnt take off the pizza for $23.00 that was incorrect. No biggie he had the bartender remove it. Overall not impressed and will not be going back.

Food, drinks, and atmosphere were all phenomenal! Very reasonably priced, considering the quality of the food and the portion size.

I can see why people are drawn to Druthers especially the one in Schenectady near the water. It’s Gita good vibe that way. The drink o ordered was ok not as wonderful as the server made it out to be and the fish and chips was also just ok. Fish was kinda mushy the crispy on the outside was ok and the fries were good. I had to ask several times for a fork and water. I’ve been to other Druthers locations and this one was my least favorite.

My server Destiny was one of the best servers I have ever had. She was fast but attentive. She kept checking up on us for refills and my cup never went empty. On top of that, the patio seating was the perfect place to enjoy the service. Shaded area with the umbrella and an amazing server! 10/10 will come again, and request Destiny!!

Server was amazing and on tip of things. I ordered food to go, including a $12 order of fries that said to be a parm and rosemary. I was expecting a mound of fries. Picture included but I think there was maybe 20 fries of all different sizes (obviously) but for the cost it was over 50 cents per fry and tasted like very plain, even unsalted fries. They are fries. The container shoild be full. A $16 salad also in a barely half filled to go container and is 90% lettuce. West coast on tap is amazing. Bartender was amazing. Review is on value alone. Maybe if ordered in house it may be better portions. Haven't been to Druthers in quite some time but my next visit will be for beer only.

Contemporary decor with upper level pub grub. Does flights. Unusual location that supposedly near the water. However it’s just a canal looking towards a mall / parking garage structure. Parking is plentiful but a little difficult to locate for newcomers.

My wife and I were traveling home through the Albany area and decided to stop in. Fantastic beers!! The food was very good and the bar tenders were extremely friendly and we enjoyed talking with them. The atmosphere is very inviting, as well. We left there feeling like we made some new friends and we are already planning a return visit.

Druthers Brewing Company in Schenectady, conveniently located near events held at M&T Bank Center, has some mighty fine brews on tap. The food is really good here too. Where I found issue was with the inattentive and slow bartender, and server, who spent a great amount of time conversing with each other. For food, I went with the Crispy Cheese Curds which had the perfect contrast of a crunchy outside texture and a soft and chewy inside, followed by the delicious Blackened Blade Swordfish Tacos. My favorite brew was the Scottish-Style 80 Shilling Ale. I would have liked to have had one more before heading to the arena but I was never approached to see if everything was okay or if I wanted anything else. All said, I would definitely come back again another time when I’m at the arena, but if I had my druthers the service would be a little more attentive. Recommended.
